Supporting entry into a new public sector framework
The client
A global real estate services provider with operations spanning commercial property, facilities management, and workplace strategy sought 50 Degrees’ bid writing and solution development expertise to support their first contract with the Crown Commercial Service (CCS). The contract, commissioned by a secure UK government department, asked bidders to provide Total Facilities Management (TFM) services for a critical facility- presenting our client with the opportunity to expand further into the public sector.
The challenge
As a business traditionally focused on the B2B market, our client had public sector experience but hanot previously delivered FM services through the Crown Commercial Service (CCS). The contract’s unique focus on facilitating seamless interconnection between HR, FM, and IT to deliver an enhanced workplace experience for employees presented an unfamiliar challenge to our client. To position itself as the top bidder, our client needed to demonstrate a deep understanding of government-specific requirements and the ability to translate commercial experience into a credible, value-for-money public sector solution.
