The employee experience

Our culture is pretty straight-forward – we believe in our values and we have a common purpose.

We believe in working as a team; everyone being valued and treated as an equal. It’s not about where you come from, how experienced you are, or how long you’ve been with us… it’s about what you bring to the team.

We’re non-corporate. You only have to wear a suit if you really want to. We don’t believe in unnecessary admin, meetings and restrictive hierarchies.

And, we want people to enjoy what they’re doing, to feel motivated and to benefit from an environment that they can flourish in.

What about the nuts and bolts?

  • Competitive salary

  • Bonus scheme

  • Pension contribution up to 5%

  • Family friendly - flexible working policies

  • Part-time opportunities available

  • Remote working or office based (or a bit of both)

  • Tailored wellbeing support package

A commitment to progression

We believe that good work should always be recognised and rewarded.

But no one can do their best work without having the right support and the right environment. That’s why we’ve invested in a Head of Talent and Wellbeing… the very talented, very experienced and very Australian, Matt Wells.

It’s his job to get the right people on board and make sure every 50 Degrees team member has everything they need in place to learn, improve, succeed and progress their career.

And, he takes care of our wellbeing, developing individual plans to support us all to be as healthy, happy and stress-free as possible (cos it does get a bit pressured now and again!).

“The great thing about 50 Degrees is that everyone is approachable, and everyone wants to help and support you.

“Working with my line manager and other members of the team has really helped me to understand my strengths. It’s helped me to understand that some of my skills which I had assumed might be less relevant, like my creative side, are invaluable to the bid development process.

“It’s great to receive regular, constructive feedback that helps me understand how I can get better. Equally, I have come to understand that good work is always met with positive recognition and that has given me the confidence to contribute more to projects and take the lead with managing client relationships.

“It really feels like 50 Degrees cares about personal development; making sure the job brings out the best in you.”
