Why work with us?

Own work.

At 50 Degrees, you won’t just be a faceless consultant working away in the background. You’ll work directly with senior leaders, solve complex challenges, and see your ideas come to life in our bids.

We’ll make sure you’re supported, but it’s not for the faint-hearted… we’ll expect you to take ownership from day one and show the commitment to quality that is at the heart of everything we do. In return we’ll offer variety, tangible career progression, and the chance to learn from some of the most talented people in our industry.

We’re building our associate bid writer network

At 50 Degrees, we help clients win complex, high-value work. That means large-scale tenders, multiple stakeholders, tight timelines and high expectations around quality. It’s the kind of work where experienced bid writers make a real difference. As demand continues to grow, we’re expanding our associate bid writer network.

Who we’re looking for

We're interested in experienced bid writers who are comfortable operating at a high-level on complex opportunities.

Experience in one or more of the following areas is particularly relevant:

  • Digital and technology
  • Facilities Management
  • Health and public services

You'll be used to shaping content, not just drafting it. You'll know how to structure a response, challenge input where needed, and bring clarity and narrative to large, multi-contributor bids.

How we work

We work closely with our clients, often embedded into live opportunities. Our associates are a core part of that, working alongside our permanent team to lead storyboarding, develop content and drive submissions through to a high standard. We keep things straightforward. Clear expectations, good communication, and a focus on getting the work right.

What we offer
  • Competitive day rates, aligned to experience and role on the bid
  • A strong, consistent pipeline of work across 2026, 2027 and beyond
  • Flexible working arrangements
  • Interesting, complex opportunities across multiple sectors
  • The chance to work with a talented, hard-working team

We take the work seriously, but not ourselves. It’s a good group of people who care about quality and enjoy working together.

Interested?

If you’re an experienced bid writer and this sounds like a good fit, we’d be keen to hear from you.
