Value of major national total facilities management contract
Technical submission crafted across complex supply chain partners
Subject matter experts engaged to shape compelling bid response
A leading global workplace services provider sought to secure one of the UK’s most significant total facilities management contracts. Operating across multiple sites and involving a broad supply chain, the complexity of the bid demanded expert proposition and writing support. Our client engaged us to lead content development, coordinate technical expertise, and produce a submission that balanced operational rigour with a compelling vision for long-term service delivery.
With over 30 subject matter experts and multiple specialist supply chain partners contributing, the bid risked fragmented, inconsistent messaging. Each partner brought deep technical knowledge but different perspectives, priorities, and writing styles. The submission needed to demonstrate both technical excellence and a coherent, forward-looking vision — all within a tightly structured procurement framework. Unifying these voices into a single, evaluation-ready narrative was the central challenge.
50 Degrees took full ownership of content development, acting as the central writing and coordination function throughout the procurement cycle. We ran structured input sessions with SMEs and supply chain partners, extracting the knowledge required while maintaining narrative control. Each technical section was crafted to meet evaluator expectations —precise, evidenced, and aligned to the specification — while the overarching proposition was shaped to reflect ambition and innovation. We balanced the depth of technical responses with an accessible vision for service transformation, ensuring evaluators could see both capability and leadership.
Throughout, we managed version control, consistency, and editorial quality across the full 150-page submission.
